Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) invites online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Drivers in BMTC Bangalore.

1. POST NAME:  DRIVERS  – (Total 1500 Driver Posts)
   
   1. ‘Local Cadre’  (Hyderabad-Karnataka Region) Candidates : 120 Posts
      
   2. ‘Non-Local Cedre’ (Other than Hyderabad-Karnataka Region) Candidate: 1380 Posts

PAY SCALE:

1. During 2 Year Training Period : Rs.7500/- p.m. for Drivers
2. Post Training : Rs.11020 – 170 – 11360 – 250 – 12860 – 320 – 14460 – 420 – 15300 – 530 – 16890 – 640 – 18170

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. POST NAME: DRIVERS
   1. Must pass SSLC/10th Standard. (SSLC Examinations held with 500 marks from Open Universities will not be considered)
   2. Must hold Valid  HPV / HTV /HGV Driving License and Karnataka Badge and it should complete minimum two years on or before the last date of the online application.

AGE LIMITS: (As on 20.06.2015)

1. Minimum Age Should be 24 Years Completed
2. Maximum Ages are as follows:
   1. General Candidates : 35 Years
   2. 2A/2B/3A/3B : 38 Years
   3. SC / ST/ Cat-1 : 40 Years

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:

1. Male Applicants : Height: 163 cm and Weight : 55 Kg
2. Female Applicants : Height: 153 cm and Weight : 50 Kg
