Karnataka Forest Dept. Recruitment 2018-19 : Forest Guard Posts – Online Application

Govt. of Karnataka, Department of Forest has re-invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Forest Guard (Aranya Rakshakaru) through direct recruitment process. Eligible candidates may read the notification carefully before applying to the Forest Guard Posts and proceed with applying for the posts in Forest Department.

Note: This recruitment will be done as per the Forest Department’s notification No. 01/2017-18 dated 10.04.2017

PAY SCALE: Rs.11600  –  Rs.21000

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Educational Qualification : Must be II PUC or 12th Standard Pass
2. AGE LIMITS
   1. Minimum Age                                 : 18 years (Born Before 10.04.1999)
   2. Maximum Age :
      1. General Merit (GM)             : 27 Years (Born Before 10.04.1990)
      2. Categories 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B   : 30 Years (Born Before 10.04.1987)
      3. SC/ST, Cat-I                           : 32 Years (Born Before 10.04.1985)
      4. Note: Please refer official notification for details and further assistance.

APPLICATION FEES (Payments done at Post Offices only)

1. SC, ST, Cat-I, Ex Servicemen    : Rs.40 (Rs.25+Rs.15)
2. General, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B             : Rs.115 (Rs. 100+Rs.15)

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Step 1: Merit list will be prepared with 1:20 ratio (1 Post=20 Applicants)
2. Step 2: Verification of Original Documents
3. Step 3: Physical Standards Test
4. Step 4: Physical Fitness Test
5. Step 5: Physical Competency Test
6. Step 6: Written Aptitude Test
7. Selection : Final Merit list will be prepared by calculating 50%  marks from Aptitude Test’s result + 50% marks from II PUC result

IMPORTANT DATES:

1. Date of Starting Online Registration            : 09.04.2018
2. Last Date for online Registration                 : 08.05.2018 by 4.30 pm
3. Last Date of Fee Payment                            : 10.05.2018
